Found children’s foods contain too many vitamins and minerals

EWG’s report found that nearly half of American kids consumed potentially harmful amounts of vitamin A, zinc and niacin because of excessively fortified processed food, outdated nutritional labeling and misleading ads. All three national morning shows and “The Colbert Report” featured the report.
