Crop insurance payouts are the total yearly payouts made to farmers in each county through the federal crop insurance program.

Disaster payments are yearly payments made to farmers in each county through ad hoc disaster bills and the supplemental revenue assistance payments program (SURE).

Crop insurance payouts came from the USDA Risk Management Agency and disaster payments came from the USDA Farm Services Agency.
