We learned about the Hall-Massey family's tragic situation in the New York Times' excellent investigative series about the pervasive water pollution allowed by too many Clean Water Act violations that too often go unpunished.
It was an important series on an important issue that adds value to the clean water debate - even for people who are well aware of the problem.
